Welcome to my web page. My name is Bernt Balchen. Yes that's me in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada in 1951. I was stumped for words that day. That's the old house in the background, 226 - 4th avenue S.W. I have an eclectic collection of information. There are chicken recipes,information about ancestors and relatives and links to other sites. I have endeavored to be accurate in my genealogical information however family trees can be tricky at best. Everyone hopes to find that famous or royal connection and not the proverbial black sheep of the family.
